Do you love fresh seafood or snorkeling with the ocean’s creatures?
Well, you can do both starting late May at a new restaurant opening in St. Pete Beach in Florida.
The RumFish Grill & Bar, at the TradeWinds, owned beach resort Guy Harvey Outpost, will have a 33,500-gallon snorkel aquarium that resort guests can swim in the tank with snook, redfish, trout, tarpon, grouper and snapper.
Bring your brave attitude snorkelers, the tank will have small sharks and eels!
If you aren’t ready for that much adventure, take an exclusive tour where resort officials highlight eco-friendly initiatives and tank management practices. Guests who opt for this option can also feed the fish.
After you work up an appetite, try RumFish’s peppered ahi tacos, Caribbean ceviche and pan-seared local grouper.
Look for a sneak peak of the ocean-loving restaurant on Animal Planet’s “Tanked” that is airing Friday, May 16.
What do you think of the concept? Would you take a dip in the aquarium?
